Robust, circular cold saw machines primarily for ferrous (but also non-ferrous) metals. Over the years, Kaltenbach has supplied dozens of exhaust tube manufacturers with customized KKS machines with added features for cutting thin-walled bent steel and stainless steel tubing. Available enhancements include:

• Pre-drilled hole pattern in table to facilitate quick fixture changes
• Coolant atomizer system to reduce clean up and washing downstream
• Two palm cycle start
• Fast approach blade setting for tubes fixtured above the table

Kaltenbach can customize a standard machine to suit your needs. We also offer the KKS 450 R, which is designed as a jig & fixture machine from the start. All of these machines utilize the Kaltenbach up-stroking blade principle, which provides several key advantages:

• The blade immediately enters the cut for reduced cycle time
• Coolant is applied to the blade below the table for less mess
